TEXTILE ART

Felt manual is an art and archaic technique. Several stories were told about it.

"At the time of King Gengiskan, while his subjects revered him he liked to stand with their arms crossed over a carpet of white felt that gave him the symbol of power and strength".

Another story of religion that seems more childlike and beautiful is Noah... animals being placed inside the ark, his hair and wool to fall over the days in the ship and between the bumps and sweat and water accumulated on the floor all the pastors who had seen these wool felt and so was created the weaving of felt.

It is the only weaving and tapestry that have no plot or warp.

The nomads used the felt to build their houses called "Yurt". They sheared their sheep, their wool washed and made itself felt with the whole family together in this hard work to treat the wool and then cover the roof of the Yurt on the outside and lined on the inside walls of the hut that served as a warm and heat insulation was , waterproof and well sheltered housing was perfect in cold weather and warm.

Some time ago and nowadays the felt is being used again with pieces of clothing, slippers, vests, jackets, hats, shawls. Through improved techniques find creative and magnificent works of gay art.
